JHN SWN (John Swan) is a New York based DJ/producer, and DJ Instructor at Superior Elevation Records.

Swan began DJing in 1999 playing for break dancing events and
underground parties throughout the midwest as well as winning DJ
battles across the USA and competing in various world finals. His
technical skill set and background serving various dance
communities allow Swan to mix genres across the funk, disco ,
house and electronic spectrum with style and grace . His passion
music and movement radiates through his performances whether
it’
s vinyl, digital or a hybrid live set.

Since arriving to NYC in 2008 John has played parties for Soul In
The Horn with Natasha Diggs, at The Lot Radio w/DJ Koco, Golden
Record events alongside Ash Lauren, Dam Funk, DJ Spinna,
Marcellus Pittman, Large Professor, Resolute NYC, House Of Yes,
Zulu Nation & Rock Steady Crew anniversaries, and many more
while also performing as the turntablist in his live band West Division.
